It is the only thing about us that does not need to be confirmed by argument or discussion or backed up by other people's ideas.

Whether we believe we are the most screwed up person on the planet, the greatest super-being ever, or anything in between, the unchanging ground of all of these experiences is identical : clarity.

This is the only place where true stability resides and it's recognition and acknowledgement is obvious in each short moment. It is always present no matter what our experience is.

Not Rocket Science.

I used to be ruled by my points of view. Endless opinions and belief systems that I had taken

to be an essential part of my individuality. I had read countless books proving that I was right and you were wrong. I was completely at the mercy of these belief systems, assumptions and ideas that I had learned from other people. I could only relate to people who seemed to have a similar set of accumulated second-hand knowledge to the one that I had.

Ouch. Just writing this is painful.

By relying on repeated short moments of easeful clarity, I started to rely on the only thing that is truly undeniable - my instinctive clarity, that cognitive alertness at the basis of all experience. THE POWER TO KNOW. That is clarity.

And it's not rocket science : instinctive, easeful clarity is acknowledged and this is what becomes increasingly obvious. When we start to experience this freedom and openness as our true nature we see this in everyone. I am not my belief systems and assumptions and neither are you. I grew up hating this chore and now I find that when confronted with loads of potatoes
that need peeling, instead of avoiding this task I take short moments whilst peeling.

wonderful ? I think I have discovered a hidden talent that has simply gone unnoticed.

Everything is evidence of blazing perfection. Every moment is a wonderful opportunity to emphasize awareness rather than the descriptions and labels that unpredictably and spontaneously appear without end.
Awareness or descriptions. Ease or tension. A very simple choice in each moment.

"Short moments of awareness, repeated many times, become continuous".

If you are open enough to just test this simple instruction for yourself in the midst of your every day life you will start to gain great confidence in inherent natural perfection. Not as some arid philosophical theory but directly IN YOUR OWN EXPERIENCE.

When we rely on short moments of awareness repeated many times, we reveal complete mental and emotional stability, a balanced view and an incredible power to be of benefit to ourselves and others. These qualities are GUARANTEED to become increasingly evident in our lives.

Whenever you remember, throughout your day, take a short moment to acknowledge easeful awareness. See what happens !!

In every moment, wherever we are we can recognize awareness, shining from within everything.
No matter how we feel it soon becomes obvious in our own experience that the ease and openness of awareness is ALWAYS present, regardless of apparent points of view.

Who would have thought that the evidence of complete perfection reveals itself in ALL of life's
points of view. All we have to do is recognize this again and again by relying on awareness and allowing all descriptions to flow on by without trying to alter them in any way.

I still have to smile every time I recognize " I am completely perfect ". This is something that I thought could never possibly be my experience. EVER. Tee hee.

When we start to recognize inherent self-perfection in ourselves, we start to recognize it in others to. We are not limited in any way by our own or others descriptive frameworks. We are inseparable from the basic state of sublime awareness - a ground of marvelous wonder, appreciation and benefit.

We've just had three days of torrential rain here in Dharamsala. But today , guess what ? - The
sky is as blue and clear as it ever was. From horizon to horizon an expanse of clear blue.
The sky is completely untouched by whatever occurs within it.
In each short moment of awareness, we see that just like the sky, our true nature is unaffected by any of the points of view that seem to be apparent. ALL points of view are evidence of and are inseparable from sky-like perfection. Hooray !!

Believe it or not , there has been several days of unbroken sunshine here in southern England. Blue sky stretching from horizon to horizon.

In each short moment of rest , the inseparability of sky-like awareness and points of view is instinctively recognized as a ground of continuous ease and well-being.

I love resting as awareness. Whatever occurs in one's life is evidence of perfection and sublime

ease. Nothing is ever separate from this expanse of equalness in any way.

Watching the sun come down over the rugged coastline here in Cornwall is truly breathtaking.
The perfection of nature is there for all to see. And we are not separate from this perfection for one instant. Short moments of the repeated recognition of our own awareness reveals this to be the case in our own experience.

until it is automatic. This repeated familiarization with our essence , NEVER stops. There is no end to the clarity , wisdom and joy to be found in relying on the basic state again and again.
