The Genius of the Four Mainstays

My experience is that my thoughts and emotions (data) always refuse to "play the game" meaning that most of the time, the data that I experience is not what I would like to experience on a conventional level. I used to think this was a problem but it is simply the way things are: data are countless, ceaseless and unpredictable.

Thankfully, the genius of the Four mainstays of Balanced View brings about the ever-increasing recognition that data and open intelligence are an inseparable expanse of potent beneficial brilliance. What data streams appear are irrelevant in this regard - everything is evidence of our innate natural perfection.

Because we have believed that we need to change our data in order to be ok for the majority of our lives, this radical new perspective of simply allowing data to flow on by takes a little getting used to. The Four mainstays of Balanced View are essential for increased confidence and stability in inherent self-perfection.

Number 1.

The more we relax as OI, the more we see clearly just how powerful the tsunami of data is. We are basically awash with all sorts of data most of the time. But instead of being a cause for concern, this is where our actual power to be of great benefit is evidenced.

In the coincidence of afflictive data and OI is an infinite expanse of universe altering beneficial potency. It blazes so powerfully and relentlessly it's a wonder it can be contained by our simple human frames.

Reliance on the Four Mainstays of Balanced View guarantees that this super-human birthright is always directed in the most spontaneous and perfect way in all circumstances. We don't really know how that will look in any given circumstance but it is always way beyond the limitations of conventional thinking.

The great thing is that whatever we are doing, at some point through reliance on the incredible support structures of Balanced View, we reveal that all our data is and has always been a part of the universal dance of great perfection.

Just to reiterate, the two key points for complete well-being and flourishing in all circumstances are:

1. Rely on the Four Mainstays.
2. Go to 1.

Super Heroes

Six years ago I remember realizing for the first time that life cannot get much better than it is right now. It was a revelation to me that such a statement absolutely included all my afflictive states and "problematic" thoughts about myself and the world. And this was all due to my reliance on the Four Mainstays practice.

The mind-blowing fact about this recognition is that it has never stopped getting more wonderful and more profound. Six years from now I know that today's recognition of the glorious natural perfection of everything as it is will seem like nothing in comparison. Even though I can honestly say right at this moment "it can't get any better than this". Tee hee.

And the most crucial aspect of all of this is that it allows for the flowering of true benefit for all. It's no longer just about me. Once complete well-being is recognized to always be present no matter what is occurring in our lives, we cannot help but be motivated to contribute our innate strengths, gifts and talents towards the emancipation of humanity from the dreadful violence of data reification.

Thank you Candice, thank you Balanced View for a life of supreme purpose, joy and wonder. Together, we are creating a world full of beneficial super-heroes. One person at a time is all it takes :)

Cows

When I was a child I was terrified of cows and could not go to sleep until my parents had shown me that there were no cows hiding under my bed or in my cupboard. I can laugh about this now of course but you will start to see this for yourself with your afflictive states: there is absolutely nothing there except imagined fear based on years of indulgence and description. Reliance on short moments and the other Four Mainstays is the key to gradually reveal this directly in your own experience.

The O.I Perspective

By relying on open intelligence and the Four Mainstays what we see is that our data increasingly becomes less distracting as it is outshone by all-pervasive open intelligence.

This opens up a vast potential in us to be of immense benefit - we see that we have the capacity to participate in numerous beneficial activities but still feel that we could do more.

Imagine the world when everyone has this perspective :)
